Since 1994, PPTS has been providing comprehensive sports medicine care directly to the athletes of local area high schools and various groups through their Athletic Training Outreach Program. A multi-disciplinary staff of physicians, physical therapists, certified athletic trainers, and certified strength and conditioning specialists provides coverage to eight high schools, as well as numerous events hosted in the area. Our goal is to provide Southeastern Michigan the most comprehensive, high-quality sports medicine to meet the unique needs of not only the weekend warrior but also the competitive athlete. From mild injuries to major reconstructive surgeries, we at PPTS are committed to providing the best possible care to get the athlete back into action as quickly as possible.
Our Athletic Training Outreach Program includes:
At PPTS, we are also committed to providing unparalleled service to the community. This licensing commitment provides us with the opportunity to station one Certified Athletic Trainer (ATC) to each of our high schools. That one ATC remains with the school for the entire year ensuring the quality of care becomes unmatched through consistency. They work hand and hand with your Athletic Department to customize a plan of care for all of your athletic needs. All of our athletic trainers are NATABOC certified, CPR/First Aid certified and are continuously striving to stay up to date on the latest trends in athletics.
In addition to Sports Medicine services, PPTS provides educational opportunities for athletes, coaches, students, and other members of the community on various topics. For more information please contact us at one of our 14 clinics.
